H.R. 2773: To enhance research, development, demonstration, and commerical application of biofuels related technologies, and for other purposes.
This bill was introduced June 19th by Nicholas Lampson and referred to the House committee on Science and Technology, Energy and Environment subcommittee. A markup session was held by the subcommittee June 21, and the full committee held a markup session the 27th. It has been added to the calendar to be reported (amended). Among other actions, this bill calls for the Secretary of Energy to provide grants for biofuel production research and development.
