The Energy Technology Transfer Act H.R. 85 amends the Energy Policy Act of 2005. If passed, it will impact the application process and the selectrion criteria. It will provide for the establishment of centers to encourage demonstration and commercial application of advanced energy methods and technologies. The House Committee on Science and Technology passed the bill on March 12, 2007. The Energy Subcommittee of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources held a hearing on May 22, 2007.
