H.R. 3220 and H.R. 3221: Bills moving the US toward greater energy independence and security, developing innovative new technologies, reducing carbon emissions, creating green jobs, protecting consumers, increasing clean renewable energy production and modernizing our energy infrastructure were introduced on July 30, 2007 and referred to 11 different House committees. The bills establishe and provide funding for ARPA-E as well as other grants for renewable energy research and development.
H.R. 3221 will be voted on in the House on Friday August 3.
